Diamond Shutters specialises in the supply and fit of quality, bespoke shutters to transform homes in Greater London. The team, based in Sidcup and Chislehurst, brought Duologi on board in 2018 to offer their customers an option to purchase via interest-free finance over six or 12 months.
The team at Diamond Shutters were initially concerned that point-of-sale finance would not work for their business model. Whereas many retailers supply customers with a product on the same day - and therefore require them to immediately begin paying off the balance - Diamond Shutters needed to account for a 9-11 week lead time between measurement of the customer's windows, receipt of deposit and final installation of the shutters. It was important to them that the customer is not forced to make any repayments until they are 100% satisfied with the installation.
Duologi was able to allay these concerns by giving Diamond Shutters the option to "activate" the repayment period at a point that suits them, ensuring that finance offer is as tailor-made as their own product range.
